Hello, I'm Kay ✈️

I travel, I document, I share everything.

Travel has genuinely changed my life — and so much of that is thanks to the bloggers, vloggers, and writers who took the time to share their experiences before I ever boarded a plane. This diary is my way of paying that forward. Every entry is a detailed record of where I went, what it cost, and what made it special — so you can walk into your next trip with a real sense of what to expect.

Why I document every trip

I genuinely love travel — the planning, the discovery, the feeling of landing somewhere new and slowly figuring it out. Over the years I've learned so much from other travellers who documented their journeys online: the neighbourhoods worth staying in, the dishes worth seeking out, the exact baht or dollar amount you should expect to spend. That kind of detail made my trips so much better.

So I started doing the same. I keep detailed notes on every trip — costs, itineraries, the places I'd send a close friend to — and I publish them here. My goal is simple: give you the clearest possible picture of what a destination is actually like, so you can show up prepared, spend your time well, and get the most out of every experience.

How I work

The rules I write by

📖

Day-by-day detail

Every diary entry breaks down the trip day by day — what I did, where I went, and what it actually cost. Enough detail that you can follow the same itinerary if you want to.

💰

Real numbers, always

I share exactly what I spent — accommodation, food, transport, activities. Knowing what to budget in advance takes so much stress out of a trip.

🗺️

Every place pinned on the map

Every café, viewpoint, market, and guesthouse I mention is pinned so you can open it directly in Google Maps and find it yourself without any guesswork.

🔗

Direct links to book the same experiences

Where possible I link directly to the hotel I stayed in, the tour I booked, or the eSIM I used — so you can recreate the experience as easily as possible.
